The Forensic Psychiatry Unit has 24 care places for individuals sentenced to care under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act.

On the wards, psychiatric nurses, nurses, and care assistants work together. The operation also includes a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, workshop foremen, leisure leaders, and secretaries, as well as a discharge team consisting of psychiatric nurses, educators, and treatment assistants.

The facilities of forensic psychiatry are designed to be a good, healing care environment for patients, as well as a good working environment for staff.

Responsibilities

As a care assistant with us, you will work with forensic psychiatric care in collaboration with contact persons and other team members. You will work closely with patients and be involved in their daily lives. You will help and support in many different situations, both practically and in conversation. You will have access to regular supervision.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a recognized nursing education or an education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You are flexible, stable, and self-reliant. You also have an easy time collaborating and are guided by ethics and values in critical situations at work.

It is an advantage if you have an education focused on psychiatry or previous experience working as a care assistant. We place great importance on personal suitability, and you should have an interest in working with forensic psychiatric patients and their specific needs.
